Lashing Out

Many of my female TV friends who are on-air have encouraged me for years to consider wearing fake eyelashes. I have always been against it. I'm told it makes your eyes "pop" more on-camera. I don't know if that's true because I've never worn them, until the other day. I had a photo shoot and my makeup artist (no, she doesn't do my makeup everyday) suggested I wear them for the shoot. I was in a silly mood, so I agreed. Wow! They were so much fun. I didn't wear them on television, just long enough for the photographer to get a few shots for the photo shoot, and I peeled them off. I'll have to admit to my friends, my eyes were indeed popping! I've always believed in just being me- that is, not wearing fake nails, eyelashes, hair, etc. I don't have anything against those who enhance their look with these items, it's just not my preference, but I must admit, having long- really long eyelashes was fun while it lasted. I'm debating sharing the picture with you guys!
