A Growing Family

I am so thrilled that my family is growing. My cousin called me yesterday (11 minutes before we went on the air) to tell me that his family has grown by one. He now has a daughter. She was born just before 5:00a.m. Eastern Daylight Time Tuesday. She was a few hours away from being the 300-millionth-baby born in the United States! I was too excited that there's another member of my family. I promised my cousin I wouldn't exploit the new one, but I will share her picture. (Isn't she just adorable?) I won't include her name. Also, my co-worker's family grew by one this week too. Our 5:00 anchor gave birth to a baby girl Monday. She too is a little doll. I think babies are blessings- true bundles of joy.
