Too Many Passwords

I have more logins, passwords, codes and ID's now than ever before. It's almost too many for me to keep up with! At my job alone, I have a code to get into the gate, a code to get into the door, a password to log onto my computer, a password to check my work email, a password to complete my timesheet, the list goes on and on and on. Forget the code for the alarm system at my house, the password for my personal email and the countless passwords for every Internet site I use to pay bills or check my accounts. It's just too much! Isn't it amazing how much information the human brain can store? I'm fascinated by it.

It's funny you wrote this blog. Over the Thanksgiving Weekend, I wanted to do alot of online shopping and I would go to Amazon, Walmart, Bestbuy, ect and I would get so mad cause I had forgot some of the passwords and of them 4 sites I had 4 different passwords, so that Sunday I say down with a piece of paper and a hour of time, I went to every website I knew I had a sign on/password to and changed my password all to the samething, cause it's changed over the years. I then, made the list and emailed it to myself so I would always have a record. I just looked and it's over 30 Log In and Passwords. It is crazy what we remember in 2006, that was never required 10 years ago. How fast times have changed.

....and what will happen after we die? Have we made our lives too complicated and protected with all these passwords? HOW will our executor of our estate be able to carry on the needed transactions without the knowledge of our user ID's and passwords? (do you get e-bills or e-statements only)

hint.....WRITE/PRINT them in an "address book".
