Cold in the Studio and Volunteering

I'm not sure how many of you watched our Monday morning newscast, but I was shivering. It was sooo cold in the studio. Robert and JP have no problem with the air on at 5:00a.m. but I can't take it! I was afraid I looked like Rudolph, with a red nose! I hope we can come to a compromise with the air conditioning.

I had a great weekend; Saturday I volunteered with the Junior League of Huntsville for their Butterfly Project. It's designed to help deserving girls get prom dresses and accessories for FREE! I had the pleasure of shopping with two young girls. I truly enjoyed the experience. It makes me wish I spent more time volunteering. I think we all should do more to help others.

I'm glad to hear it was the a/c because I was praying that you wasn't coming down with something. Robert and JP might need to wear shorts in the mornings. But I'm glad to hear you had a great time Saturday. It made me think and I'm going to make more time to give back to the community. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Have a BLESEED week !!!

Coldest temperature in the studio I've ever seen was 47 degrees. It fogged Jerry's glasses and you could see the anchors' breath. Needless to say, everyone in the studio was miserable.

Ok, I'm hot natured, but 47 degrees?!?!?! That's crazy! I'd even be cold with that! Hope you got defrosted, Lisa. No wonder you were cold.

Cold air feels SO GOOD that early in the morning. I worked that so-called "shift" before (4-noon or 1pm), and I'd rather freeze and stay awake than get too cozy and doze off!
